Got back from the last 5 days of modern rifle and had a great time.
The wife and I went and hid out for 5 days north of Spokane and when we got to the place my archery target had been knocked over.
I stood her back up on Friday and Satuerday morning she was knocked over again then again Saturday nite. Nothing happend to her all during the next few days. She has a light on her so I can see whats in the neighborhood.
Tuesday nite my wife said come look the first buck was out giving her the once over. He was about 5 feet from the game camera when it went off and he spooked into the pasture.
The next Morning I got up and had a 5x5 giving her the eye also but I opened the door before I made sure nothing was in the yard and spooked him off also. The last photo of the buck was the final straw for Sally. He was looking from outside the wire fence tail doing a mile a minute. Figured this wasn't going to be good and the next thing I see he has jumped the fence and strolling around her! AS most of us in our youth can remember the Bars closing and making sure we scored he also figured that he was going to take the "Prettiest Ugly Girl" home. He mounted Sally in the yard. Then circled again and came back for second's and third's and fourth's and fifth's. Alas Sally could take no more and she collapsed. I was laughing so hard in the window I was crying. He had broken off her front leg so now I'm in need of a good styrofoan Vet to have her repaired or a way to make her a walker for next year.
